“ Local experience, quick and friendly staff, good food and drinks, what’s not to like! Just the music battle with the neighbor restaurant outside is a bit special but hey that’s also part of Italy. ”
“ Having arrived in Trieste for our first ever visit we need to spend two hours before we can book into our apartment. Quick Google " pubs and bars near me" and lo and behold I had to walk 10 metres. Took an outside seat and ordered two Aperol Spritz for Madge and Paulicarus. Very good. Forgotten that drinks in Italy tend to come with some scoobie snacks. In this case crostini and mayo. Good service...also forgot you tend to be given a ticket to take inside to pay: and find out the bill. Italy can be confusing says Madge. Interesting food, even Bilbao style Pinchos. 4.50 per Aperol Spritz. ”
